Publication via NetBird (tunnel)
To make the website reachable from the internet, NetBird is used as a tunnel. Requests to this website are forwarded to my hardware through NetBird's infrastructure. Technically necessary connection data is processed in the process, in particular your IP address and the time of the request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; my legitimate interest is making the website reachable securely and reliably without opening my home network directly.

Access statistics
This website counts its own visits to see how often it is viewed. Only aggregated numbers per day are stored: the page viewed, the number of views and visitors, the page language, the device type (mobile or desktop, from the user agent) and the domain of the page you came from (referrer).
To count visitors per day, a hash is computed from your IP address and user agent together with a random value that is replaced every day. It is kept in memory only and discarded at the end of the day at the latest, so you cannot be recognised across days. IP addresses are not stored, no cookies are set, no external services are embedded and no data is passed on to third parties. Automated requests (bots) are not counted. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; my legitimate interest is understanding the reach of this website.
Contact form
If you use the contact form, your name, e-mail address and message are stored on my own hardware to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your request relates to a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The data is deleted once it is no longer needed. To prevent spam, your browser solves a short computational task when sending; your IP address is kept in memory only briefly to limit the number of requests.
E-mail contact and AI assistant
E-mails to the address in the imprint are received and handled by my AI assistant Dieter. The content of your e-mail, your e-mail address and your name are processed to answer your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your request relates to a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The data is deleted once it is no longer needed.

Links to social media profiles and other websites lead to external providers. Data is only sent to the respective provider when you click a link; their privacy policies apply there.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR). You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. Please use the e-mail address in the imprint.
